With some changes at my work, my former work colleagues and I decide to have one last heart felt lunch as we embark on our new roles at work. 

By chance, we stumble upstairs the Lord Nelson looking for a table and we find "Upstairs" at the Lord Nelson. We managed to grab a table!

I recently had the pleasure of dining with my work mates at Ms G's in Potts Point. I've heard great things about Ms G's and their famous burger spring rolls. As we are dining in a group - we go with the banquet. The banquet is $67 with a requirement of 4 people or more.

Chef's Gallery, Hurstville

To tempt and satisfy the locals of Hurstville, Chef's Gallery has introduced a new regional menu of authentic Southern Chinese cuisine.  Chefs Gallery in Hurstville is located in Westfield (on the Forest rd entrance) and you will have to enter via the stairs or lift down into the downstairs venue. Downstairs, you'll see their signature open window where you can see the chefs working in action. I love watching the chefs working on the long strands of hand made noodles.

Pony Dining, The Rocks

 Pony Dining is one of the rocks’ most delicious secrets. Kel and I had a great time when we visited Pony Dining last year (Kel went back to Pony Dining earlier this year as well). I can attest to Pony Dining’s high quality produce and food, excellent service and intimate d├ęcor. Pony Dining also do AMAZINGLY orgasmic cocktails as well.

As I walked into Surry Hills based restaurant Pasta Emilia, I felt like I was entering a remote little town of Italy. The family orientated and rustic decorated restaurant felt very comforting. I peek through the restaurant and notice a pasta making class taking place. No cooking for me today though, I'm here to dine in the restaurant.

The Australian Heritage Hotel is an institution. The Australian Heritage Hotel is located in the rocks and is over 100 years old. The venue boasts a range of over 130 craft beers and still maintains original architecture. I thought this was a great venue to take an international guest visiting Sydney.

For many years, the Swissotel has been celebrating Vitality week (20-26 March 2017). The JPB Restaurant is located within the 5 star Swissotel and the guests can also enjoy their vitality special menu which is a on-going fixture on the menu at JPB Restaurant. I personally need a good injection of vitality. I've been very naughty.

Manoosh Pizzeria, Enmore

Manoosh Pizzeria has two venues - one in Enmore and one in Marrickville. I had heard that they have won stacks of awards by Menulog including the top national gong "Most Popular Restaurant 2016". They beat 8000 other venues so the locals must love them. I personally love a good Lebanese pizza so I was eager to check it out.

Nikaido, Neutral Bay

There are so many great eateries in Neutral Bay. I absolutely love Izakaya Samarai  but recently I discovered a new Japanese BBQ Yakiniku eatery called Nikaido in Neutral Bay. The entry is not as obvious so keep an eye out for their sign as you walk up the stairs.

Owner and Chef Hitoshi Takagaki of Nikaido tells us all about his love of BBQ flavours. His restaurant is a mix of Japanese Restaurant and Yakiniku as you can order lots of other menu items from Nikaido as well.
